No construction work or roadway closures will occur on Monday, September 7, 2026, due to the Labor Day holiday. Work resumes Tuesday, September 8.
Activity
Crews continue backfilling and importing dirt as part of ongoing site earthwork at the Advanced Water Purification Facility (AWPF) site.
Soil nail retaining wall construction continues, including installation of the next wall lift, hanging rebar, and installing fencing. Crews expect to begin prepping to shoot the permanent wall facing by the end of the week.
Traffic Impacts
Heavy trucks and equipment will continue to enter and exit the site throughout the week.
Construction is a dynamic process. This information and the project schedule are subject to change due to weather, field conditions, and other factors.
