Pure Water Demo Facility Visitors

At the end of every Pure Water Demonstration Facility tour, our guests get to taste the advanced purified recycled water after a hearty cheer to One Water, and then take a photo to commemorate their visit. At the Demonstration Facility, these photos are on display so every visitor can see the growing community of Pure Water supporters they now belong too.

The Pure Water Demonstration Facility serves as a means to both test and maximize the processes that will be used in the full scale Pure Water Project as well as provide the means to educate the public in a hands-on, immersive way.

Tours of the Pure Water Demonstration Facility are on pause until September 2025 while maintenance on the building is performed.  

The Las Virgenes - Triunfo Joint Powers Authority is excited to invite our valued customers and community partners to come and taste the advanced purified recycled water and discover how the Pure Water Project Las Virgenes-Triunfo will be the first sustainable water source for our region while also maintaining the JPA's commitment to environmental stewardship of the Malibu Creek Watershed. 

The Pure Water Demonstration Facility is located at LVMWD HQ south of the 101 freeway, off the Las Virgenes Rd/Malibu Canyon exit, and 1 mile south towards Malibu.
